Watch Battery Replacements

At Timewatch, we offer 2 types of watch battery replacements depending on your requirements.

* There is no need to book a Time-Slot but if you feel more comfortable doing this then please book a Time-Slot. If you drop your watch off at the allocated time on the booking, we will guarantee that your watch will be ready within 15 minutes for a battery and a strap replacement or 1 hour if you have booked to have your watch re-sealed and pressure tested.

Last year, Timewatch fitted over 10,000 watch batteries. Timewatch will recycle all used watch batteries.

Option 1 – Simple Watch Battery Replacement

We can do this in most battery powered watches, however we will be unable to guarantee that these watches will be water resistant once we have replaced the battery.

This is by far our most popular service. Unless you wear your watch whilst swimming or in the bath, there there is no need to have your watch re-sealed or pressure tested (Option 2).

Option 2 – Battery Replacement + Re-seal and Pressure Test

We can only re-seal and pressure test on watches that specify that they are water resistant to at least 50m.

Once we have changed the battery, we will check the seals and test to insure the watch is still water resistant.

If you book this service, your watch will be ready for collection within 60 minutes after you drop it off.

We are unable to offer this service on plastic cased watches, including G-Shock.

Watch Battery Guarantee

All of our watch batteries at Timewatch are guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months. If your watch stops within 1 year of us changing your watch battery, we will give you your money back, whether the battery is at full power or not. We understand that the watch battery is not much use if your watch isn’t showing the correct time.
